Wallypop Pouch Slings
Do you want the absolute simplest baby carrier on the market? The Wallypop Pouch Sling is what you're looking for. The Essential Pouch is a contoured tube of fabric that is non-adjustable but super simple to use. It may be used with baby laying down, facing you, facing out, on your hip, or on your back. Instock pouches are available in four sizes to suit your needs, but the vast majority of the pouches we sell are Made To Order, and made to fit your body. Any of the instock pouches listed below can be made smaller, but not larger. (So if there's a print you like, but it's only in sizes that are too big... we can easily make it smaller for you.) We use a variety of fabrics in our pouches, since we've found that everyone has different preferences:

Please use common sense when using Wallypop slings and carriers. Keep a hand on your baby when bending, stooping, walking through a crowded area, etc. You can expect years of service from your Wallypop products, but take care to look over your slings and carriers before each use. Do not use your sling or carrier if the stitching has ripped or the straps are getting worn out. Limited wearing instructions are available here. Wallypop cannot be responsible for misuse, breeches of common sense, or any injuries that may result from the use of our slings.
First, get out a tape measure or a piece of string. Measure yourself from the cap of your shoulder, down to the top of the opposite hip at the level you want the baby. If you are pregnant, you can either estimate for yourself how big your belly is and adjust your measurement, or you can email me for help. Next, pick the size that most closely matches your measurement:
If you look at the second picture, I have measured and made the sling to fit my shoulder to hip measurement. Wally's lowest point is resting below the yellow line. This is because his weight pulls the sling down, and stretches the fabric a bit. This is what we want! This is a perfect fit for us - most of his weight is above my waist, he's not sagging onto my pelvic bone, but he's not so high that I can't see around him. Also note that even though these photos were taken over a year apart, I have the same hairstyle in both photos. Nice. |
